In the current procedure, students apply for verification of marks, request their answer sheet photocopies, and proceed with re-evaluation. According to this system, students will first receive photocopies of their evaluated answer books before requesting re-evaluation or verification. With the updated procedure, CBSE has launched the following order for post-result actions: getting photocopies of evaluated answer books and applying for verification of marks and re-evaluation.
In its notification, CBSE explained that this transformation aims to give students greater clarity. Through reviewing their assessed answer sheet, students can better understand the marks awarded and find out potential errors. CBSE also stated that, “After obtaining a photocopy of the evaluated answer sheet, a student can determine whether to apply for mark verification, which involves verification for totalling errors or unchecked questions.”
The board also confirmed that it will share the step-by-step procedure for getting photocopies, evaluating marks, and applying for re-evaluation after announcing the Class 10 and 12 results. Even though CBSE has not declared the right date and time for the 2025 board exam results, it is anticipated to release the Class 10 and 12 results on the same day.
When released, students can access their results on the following platforms:
In addition, students can ensure their scores through SMS or the UMANG app.
