Monthly Newsletter | January 2023 | Volume 41
Dear Readers,
Greetings of the New Year 2023. We are glad to present to you the January edition of the School 360 newsletter.
The year 2022 was crucial for India’s education sector in many ways, especially for schools in small towns and semi-urban areas. After making major changes to accommodate online classes during the COVID-19, physical classes were gradually resumed in a world which had changed in many ways. These changes include higher parental awareness, students with higher technical exposure, learning losses in many areas, and the introduction of NEP 2020. In this scenario, schools have to focus on two areas simultaneously – innovation and revival. In 2023, these focus areas and transitions will continue to make an impact on Indian education. These will range from technology applications (artificial intelligence, augmented reality, metaverse), soft skills of the future (critical thinking, communications and collaborations), to deeper incorporation of the NEP 2020 visions (financial literacy, vocational studies, tech skills).
In this edition, we have included these topics: The Importance of UDISE+ in India’s Education System; Bhartiya games to be Introduced in Schools; Metaverse in the Indian Education Sector; Singapore’s GSF to Invest USD 550 Million in India’s Education Sector; TISS Joins Hands with Schools for Vocational Education; CBSE Board Exam Dates and Announcements.
We hope you will find this edition of the newsletter informative and enrich us with your valuable feedback.
Thank you.
