‘MyNEP2020’ Portal launched for What’s In For Students National Council for Teacher Education

‘MyNEP2020’ is an online portal devised for the National Council for Teacher Education’s (NCTE) web portal. It has been launched with the main objective of facilitating the reception of suggestions for designing and improving teacher training programs.

Besides recording and reflecting the inputs for the teacher training, the platform also displays the education policies of the nation. The portal is of some use to the students also as using it they can update themselves on the central government’s exam-related policies like qualifications and eligibility criteria.

The broader objective that the portal is expected to meet is the enhancement of participation of students, teachers, and other stakeholders in the education services delivery, as envisaged in the NEP.

The portal was three sections, namely, Participate, join our mission and discuss.

Upon choosing the ‘participate’ session the students will be able to attend seminars, webinars and will also be able to take part in competitions held periodically. All they have to do is register themselves before taking part in the online events that the portal notifies them about. The ‘Join our Mission’ section requires them to complete a form with domiciliary information. The ‘discuss’ tab, as the name suggests, provides a platform to opine and get to know about the prominent ideas on education via blogs and other material.
