Monthly Newsletter | September 2022 | Volume 37
Dear Readers,
We are glad to present to you the September edition of the School 360 Newsletter.
After reopening for physical classes earlier this year, schools across all states in India are at various stages of implementing the NEP (National Education Policy) which is transforming the Indian education system and making it world-class. With the aim of bringing about ‘uniformity’ across the state and central boards, central authorities are planning for a ‘benchmark framework’ to assess the secondary and higher-secondary students. On the eve of Teachers Day, President Droupadi Murmu expressed her hope that more talents will join the teaching profession. She said, “Our teachers are continuously trying to improve their capabilities and proficiency through research, experiments, and innovations. Through the National Education Policy 2020, changes are being brought to our education system. It is also providing opportunities for the inclusion of Indian cultural values and languages in our education system. I am confident that the efforts of our teachers will help us achieve new heights in the field of education.”
In this edition, we have covered these topics: Sports-integrated Learning as Envisioned by NEP: Education Minister on National Sports Day; A New Regulation by the Government: Uniformity in Board Exam Scores; Significant Post-pandemic Learning Loss in Government School Students; Launch of Delhi Virtual Model School (DMVS); Delhi HC Pulls Up CBSE for Changing Weightage Formula; Teachers’ Day 2022: Andhra Pradesh to hold Education Fest in All Schools.
We hope you will find this edition of the newsletter informative and enrich us with
your valuable feedback.
Thank you.
