As a prominent step towards igniting curiosity and nurturing interactive learning, Chandrayaan, India's lunar mission, finds its way into Class III textbooks under the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) 2023. This is executed in a totally unique and playful way which is nothing short of remarkable. Rani, a curious village girl, takes a journey of exploration, pondering over questions like "Why is the sky blue?" and "Where does the Sun go at night?" Inspired by her mother's lullaby and her brothers' excitement over the moon landing, Rani's curiosity leads her to question how Chandrayaan reached the moon.

Additionally, NCERT released a bridge course for Class VI, focusing on holistic development and foundational learning. Print copies for Classes III and VI will be available from April and May respectively. The English textbook, titled 'Santoor,' comprises four units emphasizing topics like 'Fun with Friends,' 'Toys and Games,' 'Good Food,' and 'The Sky.' NCERT sources also reveal that the other subject books will be made available by May 2024, which include ‘The World Around Us’, Mathematics, Art Education and Health Wellbeing.

Each unit incorporates interactive elements such as picture stories and poems to facilitate language and mathematical learning. This initiative reflects NEP's endeavour to integrate language and mathematics across different subjects, ultimately leading to a holistic and engaging learning environment for students. Through interactive storytelling and thematic exploration, NCERT aims to instill a love for learning and promote an all round development among young learners.
