India Gifts 84 Vehicles To Nepal Health And Education Sectors


India recently gifted 84 vehicles to Nepal's health and education sectors. Indian Ambassador Naveen Srivastava handed over the keys of 34 ambulances and 50 school buses to different organizations in the presence of Nepal’s minister of  Education, Science and Technology, Ashok Kumar Rai.

According to sources, in the presence of Ashok Kumar Rai, the Minister of Education, Science, and Technology of Nepal, Indian Ambassador Naveen Srivastava presented the keys of 50 school vehicles and 34 ambulances to various organisations of Nepal. 

The Indian Ambassador stressed the fact that gifting vehicles has been a consistent practice under the Nepal-India Development Partnership Programme

Applauding the Indian government's efforts to assist schools and medical facilities throughout Nepal, the Nepal Education Minister Rai expressed his hope about further strengthening people-to-people connectivity and the bilateral relations between the two countries.

It is noteworthy that since 1994, India has donated 234 school buses and 974 ambulances, to various health and educational organizations throughout Nepal.
