Sukhdev Thorat, the former (University Grands Commission (UGC) Chairman and the current State Education Policy (SEP) Chairman has divulged plans for this comprehensive education policy. Crafted to meet the evolving needs of students in the 21st century, the policy outlines comprehensive plans to revitalize the education system, aligning it with the demands of a rapidly changing world. A 15-member committee has been tasked with a thorough examination of the current status of both the school and higher education institutions in Karnataka, and to outline a comprehensive report by February 2024.
