CBSE Notifies Parents and Schools on Fake NCERT Textbooks

The CBSE has published a notice to all CBSE-affiliated schools, alerting them to fake and counterfeit NCERT textbooks being sold at discounted prices in the market. The CBSE said that unofficial book sellers are distributing fake copies of NCERT books in its notice to school heads and principals. These unofficial textbooks often comprise content-related mistakes and printing errors according to CBSE, which negatively affect students’ learning.
