How Affiliates Should Verify Official CBSE Events?

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has cancelled the registration of the CBSE Board School Games Welfare Society (CBSE-WSO), Agra, after finding that the society used the name “CBSE” in an unauthorised and misleading manner without the Board’s approval. CBSE confirmed this action through an official notification.
The notification clearly states that CBSE has no association, affiliation, endorsement, or connection with the said society. The Board has instructed affiliated schools to treat all communications, activities, or claims made by this entity as unauthorised and invalid.
CBSE has directed schools to refrain from supporting or engaging with students for any activities, programmes or sports events promoted or formed by this society. The Board has stressed that all CBSE-affiliated schools strictly follow and stay alert to the advisory. Schools should depend only on CBSE’s official communication channels for further details or clarification.
