The CISCE declared the awardees of the Derozio Awards 2025 on 11th Thursday 2025, celebrating their leadership and excellent contributions to school education. CISCE chose these learners for the national award in recognition of their efforts and special service to improve learning communities throughout the nation.

Former Chief Justice of the Karnataka HC and Former SC judge, Vikramjit Sen, will distribute the awards on Friday (21.11.2025) during the School Heads’ Meet coordinated by the Association of Schools for the Indian School Certificate, Chandigarh.
The Derozio ranks among the most honoured awards in Indian school education, launched by CISCE. They remember educators who have developed an impact throughout all educational levels and leadership. The award holds a 24-gram gold medal, a silver-engraved citation plaque, and a one lakh rupee prize.
Awardees remembered for innovation and impact
Secretary and CISCE Chief Executive Joseph Emmanuel mentioned that this year’s awardees show bold innovation, deep human impact and extraordinary dedication. He also included that the evaluation procedure reaffirmed the inspiring commitment and the essential educational shift happening throughout CISCE schools of educators who continue to raise educational standards in India. School Heads’ Conference
The 2-day School Heads’ Conference, which started on Thursday (20.1.2025), brought together more than 2,000 heads of CISCE-affiliated schools throughout India. The conference concentrates on cooperative strategies for educational development with the theme “Building Stronger Schools Together.”
AK Mittal (Rajya Sabha MP) stressed that schools are built stronger when school promoters show better cooperation. He advocated that educators should coach students not only for white-collar jobs but for entrepreneurship, and sports-related roles as well. The conference outlines a future roadmap for CISCE schools and spotlights the importance of school leadership in shaping India’s education.
