School Serv partnered with Spela for the imagination as well as implementation of this project and our team could develop an infrastructure that truly reflects the unique identity & pedagogical focus of each format.
Our comprehensive engagement in the Spela Project encompassed spatial planning, experiential design, interior visualisations & documentation fully designed to suit Spela’s franchise strategy and totally in sync with their concept of play-based early childhood education.

- Developed detailed infrastructure requirements configured to each offering’s footprint & learning proposition.
- Translated the brand's ethos into physical space with conceptual designs purpose-built to each format.
- Proposed a unique learning environment narrative through spatial planning & aesthetic detailing.
- Created typical interior layouts through visualisation that reflected the functional and emotional needs of learners, caregivers & staff.
- Delivered premium-quality 3D perspective renders per offering, illustrating key areas such as classrooms, reception, play zones & breakout spaces.
- Developed a flash presentation showcasing the infrastructure experience using visuals & narrative provided by Spela.
- Design development to holistically address both outdoor & indoor zones constituting parking, access gates, boundary treatments, elevation styling, signage systems, outdoor lighting, pergolas, landscaped play/activity, reception, parent zones, pantry, learning spaces, age-appropriate restrooms for children & staff.
- A comprehensive design manual to serve as a step-by-step guide for franchise implementation plus general finishes schedule with suggested material palettes & specifications covering civil works, interiors, utilities, furnishings & technology.
- Bill of Quantities (BOQ) with indicative pricing to assist in procurement planning & budgeting.
- Drafted site evaluation guidelines with key criteria for property selection customised for each format to facilitate franchise support documentation.
- Prepared legally sound & franchise-friendly Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
- Delivered the final Franchise Agreement draft resonant with Spela’s operational & business vision.
- Crafted walkthrough for each of the three franchise offerings for an immersive visual experience.
